Views...

The weather has been great with the first real rain day happening today. This is a welcome break and rest as it has been a pretty busy 2 weeks.

At 12,587' Augusta is one of the principle peaks of Paradise Divide. The climb was tough but the views made up for that.

Rode Doctor's Park and was grinnin on the 25 min high speed descent on super smooth singletrack cut in through the Aspens ( going back with the helmet cam for this one )

Hiked up to Merdian Lake which is a nice spot. The views are perfect everywhere you look. This was the first of 3 Weim's sightings I have had so far. Dog days of summer ( no pun intended ) but a real easy location to waste away a day ( or 2 ) only access to this is lake is on foot up a 600' trail.

About 2 min from the condo is Mt Crested Butte and they have a similar bike set up to Bromont. Walked over to the mid week races to watch the DH and from the picture below you can see the condo right in the center on the hill.

You can't ride much without going up for at least a hour. My Edge is showing over 17,000' of ascent so far. Going to get a couple of road or lower loop days in this week.
