Total Climbing today = 8,398 feet. The only other 2 people that signed in at this trailhead where 2 days before us and we did not see another person other than a guy and his son fishing on a alpine lake and he had a good chuckle at our map ( or lack thereof ) he pointed us in the right direction but we had no idea it was going to be so high or hard. We actually contemplated trying to find a Mountain road and hope we catch a passer by before it got dark.After 6 fish tacos and a tri fector enchiladas we are laughing about it now. 3 more days to go.
